Agent verification provider
World
In short
AgentKit is World's beta toolkit, built with Coinbase, for telling a human-backed agent from a script at an x402 endpoint. An agent's wallet address is recorded on World Chain through a command-line tool and a World App check, and the client tries that proof before payment. Integrations are listed for five platforms, Browserbase and Okta among them.

- In one line
- Proof-of-human network whose AgentKit lets a person with a verified World ID register an agent's wallet, so x402-protected sites can tell a human-backed agent from a script and limit access per unique person.

What World does for this layer
From the vendor's own pages
World announced AgentKit beta with Coinbase on 17 Mar 2026 as a toolkit that lets verified humans delegate their World ID to AI agents. (world.org, dated 2026-03-17) World's docs say AgentKit Beta extends x402 so that websites can tell human-backed agents from bots and scripts and block scalpers and spam. (docs.world.org) AgentKit registers an agent's wallet address in AgentBook on World Chain through the @worldcoin/agentkit-cli tool and a World App verification flow, then resolves the wallet to an anonymous human identifier at request time. (docs.world.org) World's AgentKit quickstart accepts payments on World Chain and Base, ships a free-trial mode of 3 uses, and uses Hono with @x402/hono as the reference server. (docs.world.org)
AgentKit's agentkit.fetch client tries the AgentKit proof first and keeps the normal x402 payment as the fallback. (docs.world.org) World argues that micropayments alone cannot stop Sybil behaviour because one person can run thousands of paying agents, and offers proof of unique human as the missing signal. (world.org, dated 2026-03-17) An update on World's AgentKit announcement says AgentKit added agent delegation features and integrations with Browserbase, Exa, Okta, Shopify and Vercel. (world.org)
Claims the vendor makes about itself
World claims nearly 18 million verified humans across more than 160 countries. (world.org, dated 2026-03-17)

What World does not do
- World's AgentKit does not identify which company operates an agent; it proves only that a unique, anonymous human registered it.
- AgentKit protects x402 endpoints; a site that does not run an x402 server gets no AgentKit check.
